Webelinx Games is looking for enthusiastic trainees that would like to learn more about Data Analytics in the gaming industry.

The goal of our traineeship program is to support fresh or future graduates to grow their skills and get ready for work in Data Analytics, in gaming or any other industry. We are proud to say that a lot of ex-interns and trainees are our employees today!

We will guide you through learning about Data Analysis using real (gaming) life business requirements, putting your existing skills to use, and improving them in the process. Having to work with a wider Webelinx Games team will give you a great opportunity to upgrade your communication and teamwork skills.

What will you learn during the traineeship? You will:

• Put gained academic knowledge into practice in the real business environment of a growing gaming industry
• Gain knowledge in using the tools such as Data Studio and Big Query
• Gain experience with the best data transformation practices 
• Learn how to use Data Analytics for business purposes
• Become familiar with our Product and Marketing Teams, all the processes within them, and their need for Data Analytics
• Become familiar with the process of game design
• Find out how to assess the success of a game

Profile of our Data trainees

Our ideal candidate is somebody who has a good understanding of data structure, a sense of data visualization, a desire to learn about new technologies and develop a business sense, possesses a confident, passionate and self-driven attitude, and thrives in a team environment. 

What makes a good candidate?

• Bachelor studies final year student, Master studies student, or a recent graduate who obtained a degree in 2020 or 2021
• Intermediate knowledge of Google Sheets or MS Excel
• Understanding statistical reasoning
• Willingness to learn
• Strong self-initiative and action-oriented skills
• Excellent communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively and cross-functionally
• Intermediate English skills (minimum B1)
• Passion for games and gaming industry

Nice to have:

• To be a final year student or recent graduate from Faculty of Science and Mathematics (Mathematics, Computer science, Physics), Faculty of Economics, Information technology or computer science from the Faculty of Electronics, Faculty of Organisational Sciences;
• Experience in Data Studio and Big Query
• Previous academic or practical work examples in the area of data analytics, data visualization, or reporting

How do we select trainees?

Applications are processed upon arrival. We will accept traineeship applications until December 1st, 2021.

Applicants with a suitable profile will be invited to the testing where you can expect assignments that will check your Data understanding skills.

Those who pass the testing will be invited to an interview, after which we will make the final decision.

Details about the traineeship

At the end of the selection process, we will select the best candidates who will join our traineeship program for 12 months, starting from January 17.

The traineeship is paid.

The plan is to have the trainees working in a hybrid model from home and from our offices in Science and Technology Park in Niš. All the necessary equipment for the traineeship will be provided by Webelinx Games.
