Experienced Software Engineer

Due to the growth of workload and new customers, our Safety Team is seeking an engineer willing to join the team of people who deliver software solutions for development and commissioning of applications for next generation safety controllers. Working in this role, you will be able to make a significant contribution to developing and maintaining the quality of our products – primarily in Safety Tools department – but later on the whole bunch of others. You will have an opportunity to work with cutting-edge industrial hardware and sneak-peak into the Robotics systems of largest European and worldwide clients.

Responsibilities

► Development and maintenance of Features assigned to the team

► Working on legacy and new codebase

► Designing and writing feature requirements

► Apply quality engineering principals throughout the Agile product lifecycle

► Working tightly with testers and stakeholders to find solutions for any type of occurring problems

► Analysing users stories and/use cases/requirements for validity and feasibility

► Provide support and documentation

Experience/Skills Required

► 3+ years of software development experience (C#/.NET) with focus on windows application development (WPF, MVVM)

► OOP, SOLID principles and Design patterns

► Experience in Agile methodologies (e.g. Scrum or Kanban)

► Knowledge of Git or other source control management systems

► Strong diagnostic skills applicable to complex systems

► Self-motivated team player and a great attitude towards solving problems

► Accuracy and attention to detail

► Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously

► Ability to work well under limited supervision.

► Excellent English, written and verbal communication skills

Experience/Skills Desired

► Experience in Automation technologies is considered as a strong plus

► Experience in working with industrial safety/automation systems, or industrial controllers, would be a big advantage

► Prior experience with ReSharper

► Experience with GitLab, CI/CD pipeline using technologies like Docker is a plus

► Interest and/or Experience in DevOps topics

► Knowledge of other programming languages is more than welcome

► Previous experience with Microsoft Office collaborative platform (SharePoint, OneNote, etc.)

► Knowledge of German language is desirable, but not required

► Bachelor's degree in Software Engineering, Computer/Information Science or similar fields
